The Peutz-Jeghers Syndrome Foundation, would like to introduce the first ever.Peutz-Jeghers Awareness Day's Two dates:
5th Sep 2022 PJS awareness children's day (Coloured lips day). (Inspired by Angel Astrid) - Lets work together to get this day up and running in your local school, clubs or even at your work.
20th Nov 2022 - PJS Awareness Day (Wear your PJ's to work or school). Due to illness we missed the 2023 PJS Awareness Days.
5th September 2024 PJS Awareness Day:
In 2024 with the combine effort of family and friends we are back. After feedback from the PJS Support Group we have decieded to combine the two days into just the one day and we have gone with the 5th Sep 2024 in honour of Astrid who was a PJS Warrior and lost her battle at the young age of 13 years old. We also contiune to reconise and be inspired by the legacy and advocacy work for PJS that was done by Stephanie Sugars who also lost her battle with PJS.
Please feel free to copy the logo below and share it on your social media. Our children have turned the ribbion into stickers and hand them out at their schools on PJS Day. They also have had some Tshirts printed up and wear them with pride.
